Guarantee for your coat and/or other product (excluding boots)

Your coat from BILODEAU Canada is guaranteed for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. The guarantee covers all manufacturing flaws related to fabric, filling, eyelets, buttons, zippers, velcros, and/or stitching. The guarantee is valid if the item or accessory has been maintained correctly and not subjected to abusive wear or abnormal use.

The guarantee is null and void if the coat has been dry-cleaned, since this process damages its water-repellent membrane;

For your items made from fur : Fur is a natural material that can lose hairs or can be scratched, like leather. The guarantee therefore does not cover the wear and tear of fur worn down by normal rubbing or from placing the boots near a heat source. Only manufacturing defects pertaining to the finishing of the fur will be covered by the guarantee. Such incidents are obviously very rare, since our products go through a series of tests and a rigorous quality control. In cases of damaged fur, an analysis will be made by our team to determine the cause of the repairs requested;

While we use the best products available on the market, we cannot guarantee our boots against all wear, deterioration, or excessive heat. The guarantee is only valid if the product has been properly maintained and not subjected to abnormal use. The guarantee does not apply if the item is damaged by: wearing, friction, scratching, personal use, exposure to water, snagging or tearing, exposure to heat, abusive treatment.

Items made out of fur have been solidly sewn at the soles. Our boots are designed to be worn in the snow and not in the water—they are not waterproof.
