What are the delivery times?
During the week, all orders are processed the same day. If the product is in stock, it will be shipped that day. Orders received over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.
What is the waiting time if I ordered a product that is not in stock?
The production time is between 10 and 15 business days. We will reach out to you directly in the event of a delay beyond that time.
How can I change an order once it has already been submitted?
You can reach out to us directly by telephone at 1-(418)-274-2511, and a customer representative will be able to modify the order for you.
Which delivery service do you use for shipping orders?
All packages are shipped through Canada Post.

Are the Blizzard boots waterproof ?
The Blizzard model has been thoughtfully designed to provide exceptional warmth for your feet, though they are not completely waterproof. The boots are made for the harshest winter conditions and coldest temperatures, though we recommend that you avoid direct submersion in water or melting snow.
What is the temperature rating for BILODEAU Canada coats, and what material is the lining made from?
Our coats have 100% polyester linings and are designed to withstand temperatures up to -30 degrees Celsius (-22 F). Keep in mind that each person tolerates cold differently, so this is an average rating and might not reflect every customer’s personal experience.
Are the urban boots suitable for extended winter activities outdoors?
As the name suggests, the boots are designed primarily for urban excursions. They are ideal for everyday around-town activities, and offer a combination of both style and comfort.
Does the type of fur used in your boots and mittens affect their warmth factor?
Fur is not only a style choice but also a practical choice because of the exceptional warmth it provides. Whether you choose seal, beaver, or cowhide, they will all be equally warm!
Where are your products made?
All of our products are designed and made in our facilities located in the town of Normandin, which is in the northern part of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec.
Can someone have an item customized?
Yes, BILODEAU Canada is able to customize items upon request. Not every modification is possible, but we will make every effort to accommodate the request. Feel free to reach out to us directly to see what we can do!

What is a "loup marin"?
Loup marin is a French term that translates literally as “sea wolf,” and is another way of referring to a common seal. The species is found in large numbers off the coasts of Canada. The meat from the animal is increasing in popularity as a food source.
Where do your furs come from ?
Almost all of the furs we use are provided by Canadian hunters and trappers and are from the wild. BILODEAU Canada believes in sustainable development, which is why we make use of all parts of the animal, including the teeth, claws, musks and oils, to create a variety of related products. When we have the privilege of receiving an animal, it is always our goal to waste no part of it.
What kind of leather do you use in your products?
BILODEAU Canada uses cowhide leather in its products, because of its strength and durability.
