Shown Price and Fees

The sales price is shown in Canadian dollars. It is the price of the item only. Any other fees are not included and will be part of a seperate contract with BILODEAU Canada.

Shipping and Delivery Times

Shipping time covers the time necessary to confirm your order, and come to an agreement with you about the shipping and packing method, the time needed to obtain all the required documents and any related fees. Delivery time is the approximate time between the moment your order leaves our facilities and when it arrives at destination. Please note that our shipping department is open on weekdays from 8h to 17h EST. Depending on the item, obtaining all the necessary documents may take up to several months. BILODEAU Canada will reach out to you regarding the specifics of your order.

Shipment release requirements :

1. All required documents are obtained.
2. A written agreement about the shipping details is reached.

Delivery in Canada

Shipping within Canada is generally permitted. There are a few exceptions so a check must be done before release.

International Delivery

All countries set their own requirements and these may also vary depending on the species and type of item, a thorough check must be done for every order shipping out of Canada. The documents required can be split in two groups :

CITES Permits

CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) is an international agreement between governments. Its aim is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten the survival of the species. A species covered by CITES must at least obtain an export permit from the originating country. This applies to any parts and derivatives of the animal. Depending on the level of control demanded by CITES and the destination country, an import permit may also be required.

An item of a species covered by CITES typically requires the use of a specialized customs broker or forwarder to ensure that all export and import steps are properly followed.

Certificates

Countries can also require a variety of other documents such as veterinary or sanitary certificates, taxidermy/dressing certificates and/or certificates of origin.

Accreditation

BILODEAU Canada is an authorised establishment for the export of game trophies to the European Union. Establishment number ABP-152.
