A specialization - An art
The realization of taxidermy pieces related to fish and other fishery products is a universe in itself. The pigments, often vivid of these animals, fade when they come out of the water and lose their brightness when the skins are prepared. In addition, the head cannot be used to make the mounting, because they are difficult to preserve.
At BILODEAU Canada, our craftsmen have developed the know-how to give back the brightness of the colors and the glossy finish that characterize this fauna. They have also developed the techniques to reproduce the head of the specimens as faithfully as possible.
