Whale jaw with baleen

Always ready for new challenges!

The diversity of the talents of the BILODEAU team allows us to take on particular challenges. In this project, the challenge was to create a structure capable of accommodating the baleen of this right whale, to attach it to its frame without damaging it, and to do so in an aesthetic that pays homage to it.

Once completed, our team went to install this part of the jaw. BILODEAU is proud to have participated in the reconstruction of this right whale with the Centre d'interprétation des mammifères marins in Tadoussac (CIMM).

This magnificent piece of osteology is exhibited at the CIMM along with other marine mammals, each one as impressive as the next, for the pleasure and amazement of visitors.
