Films featuring animals, especially young ones, present many technical challenges. These adorable little characters are full of life and a little unruly. The film, The Wolf and the Lion, was produced in 2022 by Gilles De Maistres.

Produced in Canada, this film showcases the splendor of the boreal forest with its breathtaking scenery. Following the death of her grandfather, a young pianist returns to live in the family home located on an island. From the very first days, a she-wolf adopts her and brings her cub to her, and a plane crash will bring a lion cub to them.

The taxidermy team contributed to the creation of several original pieces to facilitate the capture of certain scenes. One of the more specific requests of the film crew was to find a solution to present a scene where the wolf is nursing her cub. Using his know-how and ingenuity, the challenge was met!
